The central wing houses three classrooms, a computer lab, a conference room / classroom and the library.

The library at Cardinal Muench Seminary is a private library (with prior arrangement, those interested in church-related research can make use of its resources), containing over 29,000 volumes and a collection of past and current Catholic periodicals. It also has a small special collections room, the basis of which were the private book collections of Bishop Shanley and Bishop O'Reilley, the first two bishops of the Diocese of Fargo. There is also a library of classical music. Over the years the collections of diocesan priests have increased the library's holdings. Seminarians also have access to the library at NDSU and through it can receive books on inter-library loan.

The dining room is located on the north side of this wing. It will comfortably seat 125 people. The small stage at the end of this room allows the dining room to be transformed into a small theater.

The dormitory wing is a two-storied structure containing 55 dorm rooms. Central bath and toilet facilities are provided on each floor. Each room includes a private telephone line and internet access.

Near the dormitory's entrance are a large conference room, a recreation room (which contains a pool table, ping-pong table and other games), a den, a T.V. lounge and a snack room. Residents also have access to a full-sized gym, exercise room, and outdoor handball and tennis courts.

The administration offices are located between the central wing and the faculty wing.

The faculty wing consists of the priest’s quarters and guest rooms. Each suite has a bedroom, sitting area and a private bathroom. A lounge is available to members of the resident faculty and the staff.
