VIANNEY PROGRAMAny man over the age of 18, who is considering the priesthood but has not yet decided to be a seminarian, can participate in Cardinal Muench Seminary's year-long Vianney program. Participants in the program can be a student or hold a full-time job. The individual is responsible for all expenses related to his participation in the program. The Vianney resident lives in the seminary community, following Cardinal Muench Seminary's Rule of Life. As his schedule permits, he attends seminary liturgical functions: Mass, Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer and Eucharistic Adoration. He meets on a regular basis with a spiritual director and formation advisor; he is encouraged to attend the retreats, Days of Recollection and Reconciliation Services. At the completion of one year, the individual is expected to enter the
seminary or return to the lay life of the Church. |
